DENTAL TREATMENTS

Dental veneers in Istanbul

Consider carefully planned changes to tooth shape, proportions and colour while keeping your dental health central.

OVERVIEW

Understand the treatment.

A veneer covers the visible surface of a tooth. It may be made from ceramic or composite resin and used to address selected concerns about appearance. The choice depends on the remaining enamel, bite, oral health and the amount of change you want.

SUITABILITY

Start with your oral health.

Healthy teeth and gums are the starting point. A dentist needs to assess decay, wear, grinding and alignment before recommending veneers. Whitening, bonding or orthodontic treatment may offer a more conservative route for some concerns.

YOUR OPTIONS

Compare the approaches.

01

Ceramic veneers

Individually designed restorations made outside the mouth, with a discussion about appearance, tooth preparation and bonding.

02

Composite veneers

Resin can be shaped directly on the tooth. Consider maintenance, staining, repair and the extent of the proposed changes.

03

Conservative alternatives

Compare whitening for colour, bonding for selected shape changes and orthodontic treatment for alignment.

TREATMENT STAGES

Know what happens next.

01

Explore your goals

Discuss the features you like and what you want to change without selecting a fixed veneer count first.

02

Examine and plan

Assess teeth, gums and bite; use digital records to discuss proportions and realistic limitations.

03

Prepare and review

If preparation is needed, understand the permanent changes before proceeding. Review the proposed shape and shade.

04

Fit and follow up

Check the restorations, bite and hygiene access, then review comfort and your maintenance plan.

RECOVERY & RISKS

Plan for the next stage.

Recovery and maintenance

Temporary sensitivity or an unfamiliar bite should be discussed with the treating dentist. Veneers need routine brushing, interdental cleaning and professional reviews. A protective appliance may be advised for some patients with grinding or clenching.

Risks and limitations

Veneers can chip, loosen or need replacement. Tooth preparation may be irreversible, and treating gum disease or decay takes priority. A bright reference photograph does not determine an appropriate result for your mouth.

COST & TIMELINE

A proposal you can understand.

A quote should identify the teeth involved, veneer material, diagnostic work, temporary restorations and follow-up. Confirm whether any preliminary dental care is separate and compare the long-term maintenance implications.

Your written plan should explain appointment stages, expected healing periods and any return visit. The dates and final recommendation depend on your examination; a provisional online discussion cannot guarantee a treatment schedule.

TECHNOLOGY & MATERIALS

The detail behind your plan.

Digital scanning, clinically indicated CBCT imaging and CAD/CAM workflows support Hospitali’s diagnostic and restorative care. Your dentist selects the tools relevant to your procedure rather than using every technology for every patient.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your questions, answered.

Are veneers and crowns the same?

No. A veneer mainly covers the front surface; a crown surrounds more of the tooth. The amount of tooth preparation and the clinical reasons differ.

Can every tooth have a no-preparation veneer?

No. Suitability depends on tooth position, available space, colour and the desired change. Discuss the actual preparation needed for your teeth.

Can I choose a natural shade?

Yes. Shade, translucency, shape and texture can be discussed together. An appropriate result should also work with your face and bite.
